Tennis Camps at Gordon are Back for Summer of 2024

We enjoyed offering summer tennis camps so much last summer that we are offering four weeks this summer.  Please see below for the weeks that are being offered.  Secure your spot soon!​

We can't wait to see you out on court!

Tennis Camps at Gordon College are returning this summer offering three separate week-long sessions.  Campers can register and pay on the website in advance to secure spots. Registration will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and if programs fill up, we will do our best to expand to additional weeks.  Week-long sessions consist of a 9:00am - 3:00pm schedule Mon-Thurs and a 9:00am - 12:00pm match/game day to top off the week on Friday.

Our goals for Tennis Camp are to:

Sahlman
Head Coach of Men's and Women's Tennis at Gordon College

Camp Director of NSTC

Jack Sahlman is a PTR Certified Tennis Instructor and has been teaching tennis since 2008.  Jack has experience instructing all ages and ability levels.  Jack started his tennis instructing career with Case Tennis at Woodridge Lake POA in Goshen, CT.  He helped build a vibrant summer tennis program over the course of 10 years, serving his last two years as Director of Junior Development.  Jack has since coached at Farmington Valley Racquet Club, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Eastern Nazarene College, and is now Head Coach at Gordon College.

Donovan

Head Instructor of NSTC

Scott Donovan is a USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor who has been instructing and coaching tennis since 1986.  Scott has worked with students of all ages and ability levels.  He has worked at various tennis facilities and schools throughout the North Shore and Metro Boston areas including Manchester Athletic Club, Bass River Tennis Club, and Woburn Racquet Club.  Scott has been the Assistant Coach at Gordon College since 2015.

Counselors

Counselors consist mainly of Gordon College tennis players, alumni, and some prospective players that come to work and spend time on campus.

ABOUT THIS VENUE:

The Brigham Athletic Complex features six tennis courts that serve as the home of the Fighting Scots tennis teams. The complex is accessible by foot from the main campus on a walkway around the baseball field or by car entering from Hull Street.
